台灣具有非常多需要申請方能進入的秘密景點，像是台北知名中級山北插天山還有大武山區的大小鬼湖，但申請位置可能分佈在不同網站，方法當然也不同，這個網站會彙整所有全台要額外申請的自然景點資訊。

什麼是自然保留區
▶ 為了要保護特殊的生態系不被破壞，保護該地的基因庫，甚至維護特殊地形景觀，確保保留區動植物環境不被改變，所以設立了自然保留區。
▶有名的自然保留區像是阿里山眠月線為了保護一葉蘭，還有像苗栗火炎山的特殊景觀。
為什麼進入保留區要申請
▶在2013年3名登山客前往北插天山不料意外迷路，一名登山客先下山求援後，動員9名警消上山救援，雖然成功救下山但因未申請而被開罰3萬至15萬元罰款。
除了罰款之外，因為環境保護關係必須管制過多的旅客人潮，以免珍稀絕種的物種遭受過多的打擾。
What is the reason for the pre-work hiking application in Taiwan? Is it necessary ? In 2013, there are 3 hiker got lost in Chatianshan Nature Reserve. Fortunately, one of them exit the mountain and call for help at night, 9 policer climbing to Chatianshan for that 2 person and succeed to bring all of them out of mountain. But they do not apply in advance before hiking, 1000 to 5000 USD fine need to pay for these 3 guys afterwards.
Besides, pre-work application and population control helps to protect environment and rare species for unnecessary disruption.

- 自然保護區 → 雪霸、甲仙四德化石保護區、十八羅漢山、關山台灣海棗…等等
- 自然保留區✮→ 北插天山、眠月線、火炎山、烏石鼻、出雲山、九九峰…等等
- 陽明山國家公園 → 鹿角坑、磺嘴山、夢幻湖保護區
- 壽山國家公園 → 猩猩洞、天雨天財洞、北峰極樂洞、金瓜洞
- 墾丁國家公園 → 龍坑、南仁湖、鼻頭草原、溪仔口
自然保留區除了水筆仔,蘇鐵和穗花杉保留區外，其他區域偏向登山類型，且大部分行程都不太簡單，例如一日來回北插天山需要8小時以上加上攀岩地形，沒有登山基礎的初心者可能爬起來會相當痛苦，再來出雲山以及大武山保留區行程更高達三天以上才能完成。在出發前往自然保留區務必要先確定好花費時間與路況來評估自身體力適不適合喔～

- Taiwan National Park → Yushan national park（玉山）, Xueshan national park（雪山）, Tatoko national park （太魯閣）
- Taiwan forest recreation(Forestry Bureau mountain house) → Tianchi hut（天池）, jiujiu hut（九九山莊）, Xiang Yang hut（向陽山屋）, Kuai ha hut（檜谷山屋）.
- Nature reserves✮ → Chatianshan, Huoyanshan, Wushihbi, Taiwan Pleione national reserves, JiuJiu Peak, Mangrove national reserves, Dawushan…etc
- Yangmingshan National Park → Lujiaokeng（鹿角坑), Huangzui mountain(磺嘴山), Menghuan pond(夢幻湖）
- Shoushan National Park →orangutan cave(猩猩洞）, tian yu tian tsai cave（天雨天財洞）, north pear jile cave（北峰極樂洞）, Jiugu cave （金瓜洞）
- Kengting National Park (only Chinese version)→Long keng(龍坑), Nenren lake(南仁湖), Bitou grassland(鼻頭草原）,SizihKou (溪仔口） *Most of nature reserves belong to advanced hiking trail level except Mangrove,Keleeria, Amentotaxus, Cynas, Wazihwei nature reserves. Experienced/basic hiking skill is need for Chatianshan, Dawushan, Wushihbi,Nan-ao broad-leaved forest, Chuyushan, Taiwan Pleione nature reserves. For example, it takes 9 hours as least with climbing terrain for Chattianshan, and other area even takes 3 days to climb Chuyushan/Dawushan nature reserves. It’s better to investigate related information in advance before application.

選擇要進去的區域類型（自然保留區/自然保護區/動物保護區），並選擇區域，
可以先下滑至網頁下方處確認有多少人已經申請，若已經超過人數上限，可能會候補不到入山喔！像是秋天時北插天山的山毛櫸季節常常一位難求得提前二個月早早申請！ Pear我以前申請爬北插天山只能申請到平日上山，週末早早就被搶光了～
選完區域後點選我要申請，會進入同意聲明頁面
輸入姓名身分證字號與信箱（信箱非常重要，會有是否申請成功或候補相關資訊）
輸入你要申請的區域並選擇路線（北插天山差異於登山口或者攀登同樣在園區內的山）
輸入要入山的登山口以及出來的登山口位置與相對應時間
點選造訪保留區的目的，特別注意攀登北插天山區域需要三人前往的限制
點選要進入保留區的日期，下方有已申請人數的總表並勾選同意安全聲明
最後一步填寫隊員名單或者直接上傳人員名冊，最後在遞交申請名單
最後要查看自己的信箱有無收到成功申請或候補的資訊，許可證於進入前四天可以下載[17]，祝各位成功申請囉！
結語
由於台灣近期登山旅遊興盛，許多有名的登山景點例如阿里山眠月線，北插天山，時常都有遊客闖入被罰款好幾千塊的新聞，另外林務局的申請網頁也有英文版了，對於外國人也相當友善。
